The Universidad Mayor from Chile was founded in 1988 with the aim of contributing to the development of the country by training educated and enterprising professionals. In these 34 years it has experienced sustained growth, permanent innovation and leadership in Higher Education. At its campuses in the cities of Santiago and Temuco, it offers a total of 38 undergraduate degrees in on-site format and another 15 in online format.

The Universidad Mayor has complied with various institutional accreditation processes both nationally and internationally. At the national level it is accredited until October 2026 by the National Accreditation Commission (CNA) and at the international level it is recognised by the North American accreditation agency, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) until 2025. As a higher education institution (HEI), it has the capacity, the appropriate professionals and the necessary infrastructure for the design, implementation, development and academic monitoring of a training programme. Likewise, the experience and development in disability issues make it suitable to generate a training plan that links artistic expressions and cultural management as a factor for the inclusion of people with disabilities.
